Conference Themes

The National Title I Conference offers strong professional development opportunities for any individual working - or interested - in Title I programs.  More than 100 sessions will focus on key elements of Title I and its relationship with other federal programs.  Central themes for the Conference include:

Capitalize Instruction for All Students
Sessions under this theme address the issues of effective instruction, including research-based practices, high performing educators, age-relative programs, parent involvement and other student-centered topics.

Capitalize Leadership for School Improvement
Sessions within this theme focus on the issues of accountability, resource management, professional growth & support, climate and culture, and other organization-centered topics.

Capitalize Policy for Improved Student Achievement
Sessions in this theme explore the issues of setting, and meeting, policy at the national and local levels, including issues related to reauthorization and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
